Rev.
Shelley is a sparkling personality in the Kingdom of God, full of
LOVE, LIFE AND LAUGHTER. She encourages God’s people to keep First
Things First, emphasizing an intimate, passionate relationship with
Jesus Christ as the key to success, wisdom, power and wealth. She is
a sought after motivator, lecturer, preacher and teacher, with a
passion for the salvation of souls, and a desire to see the Body of
Christ walk in TOTAL VICTORY!
She
is the founder of Jointly Fit Ministries Int’l, a ministry
dedicated to “ministering to the minister”.
She
is also the Host and founder of The First Ladies Summit, an
empowering gathering for First Ladies held each January in
Washington, DC. Guest speakers have included First Lady Laura Bush,
Secretary Condoleezza Rice, Mrs. Alma Powell and President George W.
Bush. Shelley also hosts the annual Women’s Empowerment Summit,
bringing together hundreds of women from across the nation for a
one-day leadership retreat featuring many of the nation’s most
empowering speakers.
Because
of the grace and favor of God on her life, Shelley was Appointed by
President George W. Bush to serve as Associate Director of the White
House Faith Based Initiative at the US Department of Education. Shelley
was subsequently given the priveledge to serve
at
The White House as
Associate
Director in the Office of Public
Liaison,
where she was responsible for building coalitions through
Presidential policy initiatives and strategic planning. Her
portfolio included domestic policy that directly impacted
African-American and Faith communities. Key issues included
Education, Business, Social Security and Welfare.
Currently, Shelley serves on the Advisory Board for The Republican
National Committee.
Shelley
has also served at Georgetown University as the Assistant Protestant
Chaplain and Director of the Gospel Choir.
Shelley,
along with the Mayor of Atlanta Shirley Franklin, and First Lady
Serita Jakes, was one of
nine women in 2004 chosen and featured in Gospel Today as Great
women doing Great Things!
Just
33 years old, Shelley was selected as one of America’s Top 40
Under 40, an award given to her in recognition of her successful
leadership and commitment to excellence.
Shelley
has been a featured guest on the popular Trinity Broadcasting
Network program, “Praise the Lord”, for her work in politics,
ministry and with First Ladies.
Shelley
is featured in the August 2005 Anniversary Issue of Charisma
Magazine as one of the most influential young leaders in the Body of
Christ.
God
uses her to minister all over the nation and in the political arena,
however, her primary ministry and calling is to her beautiful son,
Michael Anthony, age 10.
